SpeedRFID-Based Limit Detection System
1、System Functions
The manual speed limit detection system is a train positioning and speed limiting product based on RFID wireless communication technology. It determines the train position through wireless signal transmission between wayside tags and on-board equipment;
and limits train speed. It is currently applied to driverless straddle monorail trains. , The equipment operates when the train enters manual driving mode.
2、Operating Principle
The manual speed limit detection system consists of on-board equipment and wayside equipment:
l Main on-board equipment components::
The reader-writer is a device used to read/write tag information. As a data acquisition terminal, the reader-writer also exchanges data with the middleware.
The antenna is a device that provides radio frequency signal spatial transmission for tags and the reader-writer.
PLC,The Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is the control center of the equipment. It performs logical judgment and signal output and supports RS485 communication.
l Wayside equipment:
The passive ectronic tag consists of a chip and tag antenna, with protection class IP67. It requires no external power supply. Different route sections (acceleration section/speed limit section/braking section) are defined by writing different information into the tag.
Semi-passive tag: It can detect switching status signals. When the monitored switching status changes, the tag output information changes accordingly. No external power supply is required.
Turnout monitoring system: It detects turnout status. When a fault occurs in the turnout section, the switching status changes, and the tag status also changes to remind the train to brake.
The system adoptsRFIDpassive electronic tag technology to distinguish different sections, thereby avoiding issues such as battery replacement associated with active tags.
Wayside tags define route positions. Different train operating routes are divided by writing different information into the tags. The on-board equipment reads the tag signal, which is transmitted to the PLC by the reader-writer.
The PLC determines whether the signal content indicates that the train is entering a speed limit section, acceleration section, braking section, or turnout abnormality, and uploads the information to the train control system. The train control system then alerts the driver to take corresponding train control actions.
System functions: Train positioning, turnout status determination, operating area division, and positioning identification functions
